SAVONA, 1ST FEBRUARY 2010. I'm particularly pleased to support as Province of Savona the Competition “2010 European Open Swimming Championship Inas-Fid Europe” that will take place in Loano from the 15th to the 20th of June 2010.
Loano, city that I represent as chief, since last yesr has been recognised by CONI as Ligurian City of Sport. This year, has been made the official candidature to become as european city of sport and this the first time that this opportunity will be given to a city with less than 25,000 inhabitants. The city able to partecipate at this first edition are three in the wholw Italian territory.
Sports in Loano, in all the disciplines, means welcoming, passion and involvement. The most of people take part, in different ways, to the activities trow the practise, the membership to the sport associations, the organization of events.

Loano, even for the quantity and quality of sport facilities available, also distingushes itself for the high number of international competition organized durant the year.
Hosting the “2010 European Open Swimming Championship Inas-Fid Europe” is a great honour and yetanother testimony of the fact that the sport is an international language throw wich different people, coming from different lifestyle and experiences, have the opportunity to join without any hurdles. Loano is pleased, another time, to be that place of meering.
